On Friday August 12, 2022, as part of the annual activities to mark the birthday of Kafui Prebbie and commemorate International Youth Day, Kafui Prebbie Foundation supported the Nyame Dua Children’s Home.
Towards achieving the Kafui Prebbie Foundation’s goal of promoting access to basic health care, the foundation undertook a health project that would advance access to quality health care opportunities for underprivileged children and youth.
Nyame Dua Children’s Home in Ashaley Botwe as an ideal location to execute this year’s health initiative. According to Mr Paul Anaba, the founder of the Nyamedua Children’s Home, the facility in the last two years has not had the required support to ensure children in the orphanage have access to quality and affordable health care. Due to this challenge, the support to the orphanage with the registration, replacement and renewal of National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) cards of all members, including the carers at the Children’s Home is timely.
In all, forty-five (45) children and caregivers received this support.
